Space fighter battles
Spitfires, Swordfish, Lancaster bombers, B17s, Focke Wulf fighters and many more have been transformed into their futuristic counterparts. Walrus search and rescue craft look for survivors, while Swordfish torpedo bombers launch attacks through withering fire to tackle enemy warships.
Epic fleet engagements
Famous ships of the past including Bismarck, Hood, Warspite, Yamato, Iowa and so many more will appear as they re-fight battles of the past in the distant future. Every major ship has been carefully recreated as a sci-fi vessel, with its design and configuration inspired by the original.
Ground warfare, battles, and sieges
The Void Wars take place in land, sea, air and space. In later stories you will experience some of the largest and deadliest battles of WWII transposed to distant worlds and star fortresses. Armoured warriors fight in the dessert, while legions of infantry battle in the ruins of Stalingrad.
Star Dreadnought Bismarck is the Vrokan Empire’s latest weapon, a monstrous warship of a size and power never seen before that could turn the tide of the war.
It is the sixth year of the Void Wars, and only the allies of the Commonwealth remain standing against the unstoppable tide of the brutal Vrokan Empire, still unwilling to yield after numerous setbacks. When a fortuitous reconnaissance flight spots the behemoth leaving port, they know they must act before it can break out into open space, and begin its mission. Stopping the Bismarck will not be easy. At three kilometres long, armed with powerful guns, and protected by unbreachable armour, it is a ship built for one purpose. The destruction of anything it meets.
War continues throughout the galaxy as Vrokan forces overrun the Hellenika System. Only the ships of Battle Fleet Warspite can hold them back.
World after world falls, until only the barren and lifeless planet of Kretos remains, a planet of little strategic importance. A world of small cities, mountains, sharp rocks, bitter storms and a civilian population unprepared for war. Without warning, the first wave of tiny spacecraft force their way through the blockade and fill the sky with landing pods and gliders. Waiting inside are thousands of terror troops, the Vrokan’s elite and most feared warriors.
The flag of the Commonwealth flies over the impregnable Tobruk Citadel, even as its defences are pounded to rubble. Its colonial garrison holds on, but it cannot last forever.
Defeats throughout the Afari Sector have pushed the Commonwealth back, leaving only the garrison at Tobruk behind on the Novan desert planet of Kyrenaica. Surrounded on all sides, the beleaguered garrison refuses to yield, even as starfighters strafe its ports, and enemy assault walkers pound its damaged walls. Each day the garrison holds on gives the Commonwealth and its allies time to prepare for a counter offensive.
The largest invasion in history begins as the Vrokan Empire breaks its alliance with the vast expanse of the Communist Confederation.
First to be struck is the border world of Byelorus Primaris. Soldiers, cybernetic assault troops, and hundreds of armoured walkers make planetfall and strike the ring of fortresses that surround the city. Greatest of these is the dilapidated Brest-Litousk Stronghold, now home to multiple Red Army regiments, NKVD border forces, cadets, and their families. The Vrokans intend on making an example of the Brest-Litousk Stronghold, to show the Confederacy that resistance is useless and to raise their flag atop its Great Tower.
The galaxy burns as Vrokan legions obliterate the Red Navy and make their way to Leningrad, the second capital of the Communist Confederation.
All that stands in their way is the mighty Space Fortress Tallinn, but even its garrison, starfighters, and orbital defences are no match for hundreds of thousands of Vrokan terror soldiers that swamp the planetoid. To make matters worse, special operatives attack from within, even arming prisoners locked deep in the heart of the fortress. The fortress cannot hope to stop the invasion, but every extra hour they fight gives the Leningrad Metropolis, heart of the city planet Neva time to ready their defences against the inevitable onslaught.
The Giapan Imperial Fleet launches a pre-emptive strike against Starbase Pearl Habor, home of the Titanian Union’s battlefleet.
Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto, commander of the Imperial Fleet hatches an audacious plan to shatter the Titanian Union fleet at the impregnable Starbase Pearl Harbor. A vast Imperial armada will flood the base’s defences, and attempt to knock the Union out of the war before it can begin, and allow Imperial forces to continue with their ambitions unimpeded.
Vrokan legions reach the Gates of Moskva and the homeworld of the Communist Confederation. The great battle of our time has come.
As Leningrad reels from the ongoing siege the Vrokans throw everything they have in a desperate assault towards the capital of Centralis, the mighty mega city that covers much of the planet Moskva. The broken fragments of the Confederacy’s fleet can do little to stop them breaking through and landing millions of soldiers on the surface.
The Commonwealth’s legendary space battleship is rushed to reinforce Pacifica Sector, but Grand Admiral Yamamoto has laid a trap.
The war takes an uneasy turn as the Giapan Imperial fleet moves into position. A strike against just the Commonwealth or the Titanian Union will not be enough. In one week the fleet will need to annihilate every capital ship in the Pacifica Sector. For this mission Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto assembles the greatest Imperial Fleet to ever leave the homeworld.
